How much will my appointment cost?

NMDH follows the Ontario Dental Hygiene Fee Guide, our rates vary depending on the specific needs of our clients. If you have dental benefits, we always try to work and extend your care within your limits. Costs can be discussed prior to booking.

Do you accept HSO, ODSP, or the CDCP?

Yes, NMDH accepts clients with HSO and ODSP, there may be extra fees (mobile fees), that are not covered under the plan.

What do I need for an in-home visit, and does it cost extra for this service?

The only thing required is an electrical outlet, and a bit of space. If your loved one is in a wheelchair or bed-bound this is accommodated. Please keep your loved one where they feel most comfortable.

Depending on location, a mobile fee is often added to an in-home appointment. This ranges from $20-$50 .

NMDH also has a comfortable office space to allow for in-office appointments,

What happens if I need a Dentist? 

Most dental services can be accommodated by NMDH, such as desensitizing, temporary fillings and SDF.  If a Dentist visit is required for further care resources will be offered to assist in finding one.

Are you able to direct bill my insurance? 

Yes, NMDH direct bills most insurance companies so there is no money upfront. Some insurance plans do not cover 100% of the appointment, an invoice will be sent to the subscriber, and payment can be made by cheque, cash or e-transfer.
